College Classics produced the 1991 Michigan Greats Multi-Sport Set.  There were 200 cases of 50 sets per case produced.  Dealer's received ONE Gerald R. Ford Signed Card for each case ordered.  The autographed card is different than the standard card of Gerald Ford that comes in the regular set.  The signed card is on a special linen paper stock and features a different picture than the standard card.  This was the first time President Ford participated in a Limited Edition insert card signing.
Each card comes with a "copy" of a Letter of Authenticity from P.L. Circle, Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to former President Ford.  Of special note is this card was signed "Gerald R. Ford".  President Ford frequently signed "Gerry" or "G" Ford.
Along with the College Classics / P.L. Circle Letter of Authenticity, this signed card has been Certified Authentic by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).  With Steve Grad signing on to run BAS, Beckett's Autograph Authentication Service has moved right into the pack of elite companies doing third party authentication.
